UI/UX Case Study : Redesigning TIX ID Payment Methods & Buying ticket

TIX ID is an application for film lovers in Indonesia.

Advantages of TIX ID are :
- Easily book movie tickets at your favorite cinemas (XXI Cinema, CGV, Cinepolis).
- Buy or rent good movies online.
- Buy online movie streaming package vouchers.
- Get tickets for exciting events!

Market

According to Government Regulation (PP) №18 of 2014 concerning the Film Censorship Institute, the classification has changed in more detail to 4, namely: all ages, 13 years old (and over), 17 years old (and over) and 21 years old (and above).

My Role

This project was carried out in collaboration between the PM & UI/UX Researcher team. Our team consists of 6 people, namely the PM team (Zaky Tamimi & Yogie Ariyadi) collaborating with the UI/UX Researcher team (Muhammad Iqbal, Rino Arif, & Benazir). We work together to exchange ideas and share ideas.

The Process

  1. Competitor Analysis
Our first stage is looking for competitors from TIX ID. The picture above is a detail of the advantages and disadvantages of competitors.

2. Executive Summary & Eisenhower Matrix (User Pain Point)

A summary that contains information related to everything included in the business plan. At this stage we look for the advantages and disadvantages of the TIX ID application. Especially in app reviews on the Play Store or on IOS.

After we use the application and observe every review from the user, both from a critical review or a positive review, we get pain points as above.

3. Objective Key Result

Conceptual framework that aims to define and track desired goals and achievements. At this stage we made this project in an effort to match the purpose of making the TIX ID application.

Conclusion

During the PM & UI/UX Researcher Team collaboration project process, we got different experiences and thoughts about TIX ID applications. During the discussion process with the team, brilliant ideas emerged, moreover they were added to the process provided by the facilitator. Make projects structured and relevant to community needs. We are well aware that due to time constraints and lack of skills, we need to learn more. We hope this project can be the beginning of our other projects that can answer and help the community.
